A recent project: The Indigenous Hub
Operating an Indigenous Hub is a relatively new endeavor, one without any established blueprint, and while our Circle began in 1999, we lack all of the operating policies required for being an employer.
With this project, we will develop operating policies for our center, educate our staff on effective procedures, expand our marketing plan, and work on donor development. We will also develop a new learning package full of essential Indigenous Teachings which are meant to be shared with our settler population, and then train our staff and volunteers to deliver it. In addition, fundraising and volunteer management will also be emphasized during this time with our new governing board.
